Overview

This portable direct reading current meter is composed of a 2-axis electromagnetic current sensor as well as a built-in compass. The unit can measure flow velocity and direction in the ocean, rivers, lakes, waterways and swamps. Depth and temperature sensors are standard and this allows the measuring of current velocity at desired depth. Data can be recorded in the field onto the internal memory and then transferred to your PC using Windows software. C-cell alkaline batteries allow up to 10 hours of use, or external DC or AC power can be used for long-time continuous measurement. The recordable data capacity is 180,000 data approximately.
