Overview

Berghof manufacture a wide range of teflon products and use a superior PTFE called TFM-PTFE. Compared to normal teflon, which is formed by single axis compression, TFM-PTFE is isostatically formed,multiple axis compression. By viewing the photos below it is evident at the micro level that the TFM form provides This provides better acid resistance, finer surface finish allowing for better sealing of microwave digestion vessels and less contamination of the surface by reagents and samples.
